What makes us unique

The College of Business and Information Technology at Lawrence Technological University provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary program in leadership and management. Students learn how to address the business, social, ethical, and technological dimensions of leadership in today’s complex, fast-paced, global economy. Our faculty provide students with positive, impactful course experiences for student learning and mentorship within their programs.

The College of Business and Information Technology is the ideal academic institution with the right balance of theory and practice. This approach prepares students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter as tomorrow’s leaders in a variety of organizations in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.

Students gain the knowledge, research capabilities, and management and technical and skills necessary to be successful in their positions in today’s organizations because of our intensive program of interdisciplinary coursework, internships, project-based courses, and directed research. 

Students gain the knowledge, research capabilities, and leadership skills necessary to be effective in leading and managing in global organizations through an intensive program of interdisciplinary coursework, workshops, seminars, and directed research. Critically, students learn how to apply their knowledge and skills to the practice of global leadership and management.
