Online Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity

Gain an ample understanding of cybersecurity in LTU’s graduate certificate program and watch your career opportunities grow in an innovative and in-demand field.

You may work toward the graduate certificate independently, or pursue it as part of either of two master’s programs – Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in Information Technology – by applying to both programs simultaneously. To successfully complete the graduate certificate in cybersecurity, you must take 15 credit hours from the courses listed in the course curriculum – excluding foundation course INT6043 – and achieve a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Assistant Professor

Gwarzo received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics in 2018 from Oakland University, where he was researching Botnet detection using a supervised machine learning approach. His experience includes working as an IT Security Consultant for five years in private industry and teaching courses in Computer Networks, Information Security Practice, Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Information Technology Management, among other courses. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker, a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator, an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst, and a Certified e-Business Professional.
