Grand Challenge Scholars Program (GCSP) classes provide deeper, more challenging learning experiences for students. The Grand Challenge Scholars Program consists of two tiers of academic engagement. In Tier One, students complete ?? credit hours of GCSP  courses in the core curriculum, which is offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. In Tier Two, Engineering students complete 6 credit hours of CoE GCSP additional courses whereas Arts and Sciences students complete 2 additional CoAS GCSP courses. Please note that a grade of B or higher is required in all GCSP courses to receive GCSP credit. Only one grade of B- or lower can be replaced by enrolling in a subsequent GCSP course in the same discipline. In addition, all Grand Challenge Scholars Program students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Lastly, in cases of transfer credit or extenuating circumstances, the Director of the Grand Challenge Scholars Program may approve a limited number of curricular substitutions.
