Extended Quiet & Courtesy Hours:

Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 through Friday, May 5th, 2023

Quiet hours are established to ensure residents have the opportunity to study in their rooms and sleep without noise disturbances.

  • Your volume (which includes, but is not limited to: your voice, music, TV, etc.) should not be enough to be heard clearly through the walls or in the hallway.
  • Quiet hours are in effect 24 hours a day. From 7pm - 8pm daily quiet hours are lifted. During this time, courtesy hours still apply.
  • Residents who repeatedly violate the Extended Quiet Hours policy may be asked to leave the residence hall before Friday, May 5, 2023.

Damage Assessments

Resident Assistants and the University Housing Professional Staff will assess all final damage and cleaning charges on your ACI/RCI after all residents have moved out.

All cleaning, damage, replacement, or any other move out charges will be billed to the Student Account of the resident.

ALL ROOMMATES WILL BE BILLED AN EQUAL SHARE OF DAMAGE AND CLEANING CHARGES UNLESS the individual who did the damage admits responsibility in writing.
Even if you check out prior to your roommates and when you leave the apartment/room is clean and there are no damages, all roommates may be billed equally for the damage.

You may email your building Residence Hall Coordinator to contest the charges as long as you checkout properly.

ALL APPEALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4PM ON JUNE 23, 2023. THEY MAY BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON AT THE OFFICE OF UNIVERSITY HOUSING (C406) OR VIA EMAIL TO YOUR BUILDING RESIDENCE HALL COORDINATOR.
