With an emphasis on scientific and technological expertise, as well as deep learning and critical thinking, Lawrence Tech’s pre-dental and pre-medical programs can prepare you for a bright future in medicine. Whether you plan to enter medical, dental, or veterinary school, Lawrence Tech’s challenging core curriculum, anchored in science, mathematics, and technology, can help develop your ability to think critically and express yourself clearly and convincingly. Students who major in the natural or life sciences, mathematics, or engineering often excel on professional school entrance exams, as well as throughout their careers. Lawrence Tech’s degree programs in biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology can help you satisfy most medical school admissions requirements without added elective courses.

These courses can most easily be incorporated into a BS in Chemistry, Psychology, Chemical Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Physics, or Biomedical Engineering, but they can also be satisfied in other majors with the appropriate choices of electives and/or additional courses.

Pre-Law
Just like the field itself, Lawrence Tech’s pre-law program is designed to challenge you from day one. Beginning your freshman year, you will be exposed to the tools needed to develop your ability to think critically and express yourself clearly and convincingly – skills that can help you succeed both in the classroom and in the courtroom. Lawrence Tech’s pre-law program places emphasis on mathematics, natural sciences, and the humanities. Students who major in mathematics, humanities, english, engineering, or the physical sciences traditionally do well on law school admission exams, and distinguish themselves in their professional careers. In addition to a superior education, you’ll gain a competitive edge by incorporating the latest advanced technologies into your studies – an excellent way to prepare you for fields such as corporate law or intellectual property (including patent law, trade secret law, etc.)
