Design Fiction

Lawrence Technological University's College of Architecture and Design hosted another innovative Spring 2023 Lunch and Learn lecture.

Design Fiction, a term he coined to describe the use of speculative design as a means of exploring and shaping the future.

In an economic down-cycle opportunities exist for re-inventing and innovating both in terms of the creation of new value, as well as the approaches to that value creation. Design Fiction is uniquely suited to mapping the next evolution of value by emphasizing the importance of the relationship between Imagination (creative practice) and Structure (work).
