Lawrence Technological University has been named to the 2022 America’s Top Colleges list from Forbes magazine. LTU is No. 1 among the universities in the three-county Metro Detroit area for highest alumni salaries at a median of $119,900, 10 years after graduation.

Forbes bases its listings on universities that “offer an excellent education at a great price, graduate high earners, and propel students to become successful entrepreneurs and influential leaders in their fields.” Forbes uses data from federal government databases, PayScale, public policy think tank Third Way, the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, and other sources to tabulate the rankings.

Additional factors considered were: alumni salaries, student debt, return on investment, graduation rate, retention rate, academic success based on students winning prestigious academic awards, and membership of alumni on the Forbes American Leaders List.
