We encourage you to arrive during your assigned time above to assist with check in lines, elevator use, and hallway congestion.
You may arrive after 12 pm, but you should be settled into your room by 2pm, as First Year Ignite will begin promptly at 2 pm and is mandatory for all First Year students.
Please Note: Limited carts and bins will be available on a first come first serve basis
Before Move In
Below is a list of things to do before you get here for your move in day.
Below is a list of what is provided in your room at East as well as recommended items to bring. There is also a list of prohibited items.
Visit the Dormify LTU Website
Dormify is LTU's Official Residence Hall Linens Program. Linens are guaranteed to fit and guaranteed until graduation. LTU Housing bed size is Twin Extra Long or Twin XL.
Need to send your order directly to LTU?
Please email southhall@ltu.edu with your name, fall housing assignment, and details on what you are mailing so we can get your package to the right person.
Use the following address on your package and you can pick it up on your move in day.

First Year Ignite
Mandatory for all First Year Students
First Year Ignite is a students only event that serves as an orientation focused on the first-year experience, campus involvement, history and traditions, and the spirit of LTU.
First Year Ignite will begin directly after move in, at 2:00 pm. Please plan accordingly. Students will be participating in activities and receive dinner.
