For anyone that has been educated in design, the studio experience is as much about learning from professors as it is learning from your peers and studio mates. Intellectual and personal bonds are created that propel everyone to do better and better work. The College is intensifying its decade-long transition from a commuter school to a design school with a vibrant on-campus design culture. Your gift will allow us to expand our efforts to engage high school students in architecture and design and to recruit and retain talented artists with the help of scholarship support. You’ll also provide enrichment opportunities for students such as travel to national conventions. And, as always, it’s critical for us to give students access to the latest technologies and classroom and meeting spaces that promote collaborative learning.
