Each year, a brand new competition vehicle is designed and fabricated by our student team. In the team's history, competition ready vehicles have required upwards of $70,000 to build. Components such as gasoline engines, electric motors and high voltage battery systems, as well as material stocks of all different kinds can be incredibly expensive. The machining processes we use, such as 3D printing, CNC, lathe and mill work, and body molding, can also be very costly. Due to this, donor involvement is integral to the success of our team. We are extremely grateful for all of our sponsorships, which include monetary support, fabrication and machining, and component donation.
By supporting this team, you are also helping us develop our education by allowing us to develop and work hands on with new innovative green technologies. Very often our graduates end up working locally with the companies that sponsor us.
Sponsors logos are also placed on our vehicles for representation during the international Formula Hybrid competition. Your company will be receive exposure to all industry professionals and companies that attend, as well as other universities and students!
All donations to the LTU Hybrid team are 501(c)(3) tax deductible.
