Optics, Lasers and Microscopy

Geometric and physical optics, wave theory, including microwaves, leading to a discussion of fiber optics, microscopy, coherence theory and the laser. (Service as a basis for students planning graduate study in optical engineering.) Lecture 3 hrs.
