This course will provide a second 5-week supervised clinical practice experience in the specialty of Family practice or Internal medicine. The students will refine and build upon their knowledge and hands-on experience from their prior primary care rotations to solidify and integrate their medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, therapeutic management, professionalism, and program competencies to become a practice-ready Physician Assistants. This rotation provides an opportunity to function at a higher-level of participation, evaluation and management of the patient.
