Emergency Medicine Rotation

This course will provide students with a 5-week supervised clinical practice experience in the specialty of Emergency Medicine. The student will gain hands-on experience in the appropriate triage, stabilization, diagnosis, and management of patients with traumatic injuries and acute illness as well as management of less life-threatening presentations across the lifespan. Students will demonstrate the integration of medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, therapeutic management, professionalism, and program competencies required for practice-ready Physician Assistants.
