This course will provide students with a 5-week supervised clinical practice experience in the specialty of Family Medicine. The student will gain hands-on experience in the outpatient evaluation of preventive medicine, acute and chronic illness in the care of adolescent, adult, and elderly patients. Students will demonstrate the integration of medical knowledge, interpersonal skills, therapeutic management, professionalism, and program competencies required for practice-ready Physician Assistants.
