Adv. Elec. Sys.

The course primarily focuses on commercial and industrial building power systems analysis and design integration of electrical system components into a functional, safe and reliable power distribution system. Students will learn how to perform analysis and calculations using various techniques including SKM Power Systems Analysis software. Topics include fault analysis, selective coordination, arc flash hazard analysis, power quality and review of a variety of special topics of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
