This course includes a review of daylighting and electrical lighting principles and then focuses on the analysis and design of daylight delivery systems and integration with state-of-the-art electrical systems and their controls, as they relate to buildings. The student will use applicable standards, guidelines and codes relative to energy efficient lighting and their controls for their designs. Students will be involved in taking hands-on measurements and at least one student-developed lab experiment.
