Design Leadership

Leadership theory and application are explored in relation to the allied disciplines of formal design practices represented by the College of Architecture and Design. Students engage models of leadership relevant to a dynamic and evolving professional context as techniques, an aspect of ethics and as part of emerging discourse of professional practice. Course content includes typologies of leadership organization, principles of successful teamwork and collaboration, viable economic frameworks, ethics and design entrepreneurship.
