Biochemistry 1 Laboratory

Introductory lab experiments to complement Biochemestry; topics may include cell fractionation, electrophoresis, immunochemical assays, ion-exchange chromatography, membrane-active reagents, spectrophotomety, and other techniques used to isolate, purify, and characterize amino acids, carbohydrates, enzymes, lipids, nucleaic acids, and proteins. Lab 3 hrs. 1 hour credit.
