Intro Chem Princip

An introductory course for students who have not had high school chemistry or who need preparation before taking CHM1213. No degree credit in engineering, sciences or architecture. Fundamentals of chemical terminology, stoichiometry calculations, atomic structure, chemical bonding, gases, solution chemistry, and the chemistry of metals and non-metals. Lect. 3 hrs., Lab/Sem. 2 hrs. 4 hours credit. The following courses can be taken concurrently with this course: MCS 0054, MCS 1214, MCS 1113, MCS 1224, MCS 1254, MCS 1414.
